چکیده

In simulations, artificial boundaries need to be introduced limit the size of computational domains and thereby lower cost. At these boundaries, flow variables calculated in a way that will not induce any perturbation interior solution, which poses great challenge incompressible flows. this paper, we demonstrate potential new traction open boundary condition address classical problems encountered simulations with conditions: backflow instability, wave reflections, confinement caused by proximity outlet. This novel treatment, based on Lagrangian estimation outlet section coupled stabilization term, is shown provide accuracy stability for turbulent, single- or multi-phase flows, test cases. Using simulation surface gravity waves, show if special care given computation estimated traction, it possible get fully non-reflective condition.

Simulation of Gravity Wave Propagation in Free Surface Flows by an Incompressible SPH Algorithm

This paper presents an incompressible smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) model to simulate wave propagation in a free surface flow. The Navier-Stokes equations are solved in a Lagrangian framework using a three-step fractional method. In the first step, a temporary velocity field is provided according to the relevant body forces. This velocity field is renewed in the second step to include t...
